In this class you will learn the do's and don'ts of sourdough bread making. You will learn how to make your own sourdough bread, how to do the stretch-N-folds, shape and score the bread. You will get a couple recipes and your own starter so you can start making your own bread! Please bring: a medium size bowl and a wooden spoon. Want to know how to keep your sourdough starter alive and start making delicious discard recipes? In this class you will receive an active starter and make delicious sourdough discard recipes in our 2 hour class. You will be paired up with 1 or 2 people and each group will make a different recipe. When completed, we will then enjoy each other's treats. We will discuss the do's and don'ts of sourdough and recipes for all the goodies we make.

In this course, participants will learn how to create a charming Donut Buddy—a cute, plush donut character that makes a perfect gift, decoration, or addition to a collective crochet toy set. You’ll learn essential amigurumi techniques, including working in the round, increasing and decreasing stitches, stuffing and shaping your toy, and adding simple embroidered or crocheted features to give your donut its own personality. No prior amigurumi experience is needed—basic crochet knowledge is helpful but not required. All materials will be provided, and every participant will leave with their own completed (or nearly completed!) Donut Buddy and the skills to continue exploring the delightful world of crochet toys. Learn how simple it is to make fresh pasta at home. In this hands-on class, participants will mix and knead pasta dough, roll it out, and cut it into fettuccine or spaghetti noodles. We will cook the pasta during class and enjoy it with a simple sauce while discussing tips for making fresh pasta in your own kitchen. No prior experience needed.

Join us for a unique experience that combines stand up paddle board yoga with the soothing vibrations of a sound bath. Class will begin with a brief introduction to paddle boarding with techniques and saftey along with a gentle yoga warm-up before finally experincing a meditative sound bath with crystal singing bowls, chimes, and drums, while you float peacfully on your SUP board. All participants must sign a waiver and be over age 16.

Since then, the museum has grown to include additional artifacts found in Minnesota that relate to Middle-Age Nordic explorers. The 40 piece collection includes the Climax fire steel. In the First Peoples exhibit, an original 1920s Tinkle Cone Dress is on display; only four such dresses exist in North America. Visitors can also explore Minnesota’s natural history.
